For a client I was tasked to design branding for a pilates and yoga wear brand named Nalu. The keyword they wanted associated with the brand with flow, balance, feminine and modern.

For this poster I used Krita and Illustrator, I started to understand to create images that do not blur when scaled I need to use vectors. This time the poster is going to be printed in colour which so I added detail in shading and pattern. This poster is the advertise and list items for the Didcot Food Bank as part of Dunelm’s Delivering Joy this Christmas.

I sketch the design in on paper first, then created the illustration in Krita and finally move to Illustrator to design the rest of the poster. Original I planned to create an illusrtation of the food items to be in a pesent/gift basket but end up not liking the design so when with the Xmas tree instead.

I designed this bake sale poster in Krita for a Dunelm fundraiser supporting Age UK. I went with bright colors and clear illustrations of cakes, cookies, and brownies to keep it fun and eye-catching.

Something I have learnt – when design the poster I did not know it would be printed in black and white which made the shading look muddy. Next time remember to check if the end product needs to be in black and white, and to remember to keep the illustrations clean.
